For Foodies and Wanna Be’s
Some of us can get recharged from preparing and cooking a meal. Others find it calming, a kind of Zen-like experience. For some of us though, it’s frankly intimidating, or at best a mystery. Join us in setting out to eliminate the uncertainties and demystify the cooking experience. Learn how to cook simple meals for one person or enjoy the intricacies of making a fabulous dinner party for guests. Create simple, delicious every day meals like a whole roasted chicken or bask in the slow food ease of Italian comfort food. Come and spend an evening here in the kitchen with your friends or meet new ones.
Cooking parties differ from cooking classes in that they are more relaxed, more social. You get to have fun, drink some wine and nibble on hors d’oeuvre while you prepare and then savor a three-course meal. Menus can be selected from our suggested list or created especially for you or your group.
Cooking classes are small and intimate, with an emphasis on technique and lots of personalized attention. Learn kitchen basics like knife skills, stock making and classic sauces. Classes can be arranged according to the needs of the students.
